I have been drawn to the ocean my whole life. The soothing rhythm of the waves, the ever changing colors of the sea and the beautiful life it produces.  The oppositional pull between rough and smooth textures with variations of color is unique to every shore.

If you look long enough at the desert and mountain landscapes you find the exquisite beauty of the raw earth.  The transitions of the seasons, plants and animals have carved out an existence for millions of years.  It is awe inspiring and mind boggling at the same time.

My figures are created from the women that have changed the world past and present. I chose a path in life that includes the sciences, nature, art and anthropology.
